The debate comes at a crucial moment when cement consumption is being driven by large-scale investments in transport networks, urban infrastructure and residential development across multiple states.As the world’s second-largest cement producer, India is witnessing sustained growth in demand linked to highways, rail corridors, industrial parks, housing schemes and urban redevelopment projects.
