Bangur Cement Launches Bangur Marble In Odisha Redefining Premium Construction Material Standards

Shree Cement has launched its premium Bangur Marble cement in Odisha, marking a significant step in the state’s construction materials market. The product, part of the established Bangur Cement brand, offers superior brightness, crack resistance, and strength, making it suitable for exposed concrete structures and the coastal weather conditions of Odisha. Industry experts suggest that this launch could redefine standards for durable and aesthetic construction in the region.

The launch will see over 1,000 retailers across Odisha stock Bangur Marble cement, accompanied by live demonstrations to showcase its performance and finish. Previously, the product has performed strongly in eastern India, with more than 2,000 retailers in Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal. A senior company executive stated, “Bangur Marble cement delivers a unique combination of strength and visual appeal. Builders and homeowners can now achieve designs that are both resilient and visually striking.” The cement’s formulation incorporates Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS), a by-product of the steel industry. This not only improves its durability and structural integrity but also reduces environmental impact, supporting the company’s commitment to sustainable building practices. The use of GGBS aligns with the growing demand for greener, long-lasting materials in urban construction, particularly in regions prone to high humidity and cyclonic weather.

Bangur Marble is positioned alongside Shree Cement’s other premium offerings, including Jungrodhak, Rockstrong, Powermax, Magna, and Roofon. According to market analysts, the introduction of Bangur Marble in Odisha could stimulate competition in the premium segment, encouraging builders to adopt high-performance materials for commercial and residential projects. Industry observers also highlight the wider implications for urban development. The product’s ability to withstand coastal climate conditions makes it particularly relevant for sustainable construction projects along Odisha’s coastline, where longevity and reduced maintenance are critical. A construction sector official noted, “Materials like Bangur Marble support the creation of resilient structures, which is essential for cities aiming for sustainable urban growth.”

The launch underscores Shree Cement’s focus on combining performance with environmental responsibility. By offering a product that meets high aesthetic and functional standards while incorporating eco-conscious elements, the company aims to set new benchmarks in India’s construction materials market. Builders and homeowners in Odisha can now access a premium cement option designed for durability, beauty, and sustainability. As Odisha continues to develop its urban infrastructure and residential sectors, the availability of high-quality, environmentally friendly materials such as Bangur Marble cement is expected to facilitate more resilient, long-lasting, and visually appealing construction projects.
