Haryana Strengthens Cement Network As Kaushalya Logistics Launches Seventeenth New Depot

Haryana has strengthened its cement logistics network as Kaushalya Logistics expanded its partnership with Shree Cement by opening a new carrying and forwarding depot in Siwani, marking the company’s seventeenth facility added this fiscal year. Designed to manage nearly 1,000 tonnes of monthly volumes, the depot deepens coverage in a high-demand region and supports Shree Cement’s growing distribution needs, reinforcing the company’s strategy of widening its pan-India footprint through targeted expansion across emerging micro-markets.

The expansion comes at a time when the cement and construction sectors continue to register steady activity, driven by public infrastructure works, new housing projects and rising urbanisation across northern India. Industry observers say that distributed logistics nodes, particularly in semi-urban regions, play a decisive role in maintaining supply continuity, reducing freight inefficiencies and enabling manufacturers to respond swiftly to market fluctuations.A senior official associated with the expansion noted that the Siwani depot is strategically positioned to strengthen Shree Cement’s outreach in Haryana’s emerging micro-markets, where demand for building materials remains robust. The official added that the additional facility is expected to shorten delivery cycles, improve route optimisation and support more balanced coverage across districts witnessing rapid real estate and infrastructure development.

The logistics company’s broader network-building strategy reflects a shift towards more integrated and decentralised supply systems. By focusing on smaller but high-potential markets, the company aims to capture incremental volumes while enhancing service depth for its manufacturing partners. Representatives from Kaushalya Logistics highlighted that each new depot has contributed to smoother operations, more predictable dispatch schedules and increased customer confidence, particularly in regions where access to building materials has historically been inconsistent.Urban planners observe that such expansions also align with the larger goal of creating efficient and lower-emission logistics frameworks. Reduced inter-city hauling, better load consolidation and shorter travel distances contribute to a more sustainable supply chain, even in resource-intensive sectors like cement. As states such as Haryana push for climate-conscious urban growth, improvements in logistics efficiency play a meaningful role in mitigating the environmental footprint of construction-driven development.Local market analysts further indicate that investments in decentralised warehousing and distribution are essential for supporting Haryana’s expanding industrial clusters and fast-growing residential pockets. With the state emerging as a key node of the Delhi–NCR building materials supply chain, stronger logistics networks are increasingly viewed as critical to ensuring steady growth without introducing bottlenecks in fast-growing districts.

Kaushalya Logistics’ latest addition in Siwani reinforces this direction, strengthening the backbone of material movement that underpins the region’s urban and infrastructure expansion. As the company continues to widen its presence across India, its strategic network of depots is expected to play an important role in shaping more resilient, efficient and sustainable supply chains for the construction sector.
