This initiative, part of the municipal corporation’s broader affordable housing programme, aims to bridge the housing deficit while ensuring equitable urban development. Officials have stated that the project aligns with sustainable city planning, emphasising eco-friendly construction and inclusive community living.The flats, spread across various municipal housing projects, will be offered at subsidised rates with priority given to eligible low-income households registered under the BMC’s housing scheme.
