Special Trains Announced by Western Railway for Vasai-Virar Marathon 2024

Mumbai: In a bid to support the 12th edition of the Vasai-Virar Marathon, Western Railway has introduced two special slow local trains from Churchgate to Virar. These additional services will operate in the early hours of Sunday, December 8, 2024, ensuring timely transportation for participants and spectators attending the much-anticipated event.

The Vasai-Virar Marathon, a major annual sporting event in Maharashtra, is renowned for its diverse race categories, catering to professional athletes and amateur runners alike. This year, the event is expected to draw thousands of participants and onlookers, making efficient transportation a top priority.
