Heidelberg Cement India has announced plans to establish a 200,000-tonne cement plant at the Sant Singaji thermal power station in Dogalia, Madhya Pradesh. The project, allocated approximately seven hectares of land, will convert coal-fired power sludge previously stored in dams into cement, marking a significant step in sustainable industrial practices. Construction is expected to commence by the end of 2025, with the plant becoming operational in around 18 months, aiming to combine economic growth with environmental responsibility.
