Mumbai-based Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd has been awarded the National Energy Conservation Award 2025 for its home appliances. The recognition, presented by President Droupadi Murmu at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, honours Crompton’s BEE 5-star rated storage water heater, highlighting the company’s focus on energy-efficient innovation. The award underscores Crompton’s leadership in designing sustainable, high-performance appliances that reduce household energy consumption while advancing India’s broader energy conservation goals.

The National Energy Conservation Awards (NECA), instituted by the Ministry of Power and administered by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), celebrate exceptional contributions to energy efficiency across industries.
