Increased coal usage is likely to elevate emissions and air pollution levels, particularly in densely populated cities already grappling with environmental stress. Urban planners warn that this could slow progress towards cleaner, more sustainable urban ecosystems.At the same time, the situation underscores the importance of energy diversification.
