Yiti Unveils Groundbreaking Sustainable Living Model at Luxury Property Show Shanghai

Yiti, an innovative model for net-zero living, is making waves at the Luxury Property Show (LPS) in Shanghai, showcasing its leadership in sustainable urban development. As the first net-zero community aligned with the United Nations’ 2050 sustainability targets, Yiti integrates cutting-edge solutions like 100% renewable energy, comprehensive water recycling, and waste diversion, setting a new standard for sustainable living.

This marks yet another milestone for the project, which has already garnered international attention through participation in prominent real estate events across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, France, Germany, Greece, India, and Russia. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with Phase 1 selling out quickly and Phase 2 already in high demand. The rapid success of the project speaks volumes about the growing global interest in environmentally responsible community models.Mahmoud Shehada, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of The Sustainable City – Yiti, commented, “Our participation in LPS Shanghai is an exciting opportunity to share our innovative sustainability solutions with the Chinese market. With increasing Chinese investment interest in Oman, we look forward to demonstrating how The Sustainable City – Yiti combines environmental responsibility with economic benefits.”

Developed through a collaboration between Diamond Developers (a subsidiary of SEE Holding) and Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN), The Sustainable City – Yiti is set to become the largest operational sustainable community in the region. Located along the picturesque coastline of Oman, near Muscat, the community is well on its way to achieving the goal of being the world’s first net-zero-emission city by 2040. The city operates on six key sustainability pillars: food, energy, water, products, mobility, and waste, and runs entirely on renewable energy. It also features complete water recycling, full waste diversion from landfills, and boasts 80% self-sufficiency in food production. With construction progressing steadily and a full completion date set for 2026, Yiti is on track to redefine the future of sustainable urban living. After its appearance at LPS Shanghai, The Sustainable City – Yiti will continue to expand its international presence, with future engagements planned for major real estate events in 2025, continuing its journey to becoming a global leader in sustainable urban development.
