Parakh Foods Acquires 6 Acre Ambernath Land From Lodha For Rs 49 Crore

The deal, valued at over ₹49 crore, highlights sustained demand for organised warehousing and supply chain infrastructure in the region.

Property registration records indicate that the land parcel, spanning close to 24,000 square metres, is part of a larger industrial and logistics development in Ambernath. The transaction value translates to a per-acre cost exceeding ₹8 crore, reflecting rising land valuations in emerging industrial corridors around Mumbai. Urban planners note that Ambernath and adjoining belts are increasingly attracting manufacturing and logistics investments due to relatively lower land costs compared to core city zones, along with improving connectivity through road and rail networks. These factors are positioning the region as a viable alternative to traditional industrial clusters such as Bhiwandi and Thane.

The Mumbai Ambernath land deal also underscores a broader structural shift in real estate demand, where industrial and logistics assets are gaining prominence alongside residential and commercial development. Industry experts point out that the growth of e-commerce, organised retail, and food supply chains has significantly increased the need for decentralised storage and distribution facilities closer to consumption centres.
