Godrej LAS Expands Presence With New Mysore Experience Centre

Godrej Enterprises Group’s Locks & Architectural Solutions (LAS) division has opened a new Experience Centre in Mysore, marking a significant step in the company’s expansion across Karnataka  one of its strongest markets in India. The centre is designed to bring smart security and sustainability together, offering homeowners, developers, and institutional clients direct access to Godrej’s latest range of digital and mechanical locking solutions.

Located in a city witnessing rapid residential and commercial growth, the Experience Centre serves as both a product showcase and a learning hub. Visitors can explore Godrej’s connected and eco-friendly lock systems through interactive demonstrations and digital workshops, reflecting India’s evolving demand for smart, tech-enabled homes.According to company officials, the organised locks segment in Karnataka is growing at 6–7 per cent annually, driven by increasing urbanisation, premium housing, and digital adoption. Against this backdrop, LAS expects to record over 30 per cent growth in the next two years, fuelled by the rising demand for integrated, sustainable home security systems.

The Mysore centre acts as a one-stop destination where users can engage with live product displays, attend workshops, and learn about design integration and user safety. All products featured in the centre are manufactured in India, supporting the national “Make in India” initiative. The company emphasised that its sourcing and production practices are guided by sustainability  from recyclable materials to energy-efficient manufacturing Industry experts note that the new centre’s launch aligns with a broader shift in India’s home improvement market, where safety and aesthetics increasingly intersect with sustainability. “Smart locks are no longer just about security; they represent an intersection of design, technology, and environmental responsibility,” said an industry analyst.

In addition to customer engagement, the facility will also host training sessions for carpenters, contractors, and real estate developers to promote skill development and service excellence. This approach underlines the brand’s focus on creating long-term partnerships within the ecosystem rather than merely retail expansion.
The initiative reinforces Mysore’s emergence as a growing hub for modern housing solutions in South India. By combining security innovation with sustainable production, Godrej LAS aims to contribute to a more responsible, technology-driven future for urban living  one that balances convenience, safety, and environmental stewardship.
